Any Rupertites interested in this study are welcome to come along and collect seawater samples with me. Please feel free to reply here, and I will let you know when I plan to collect the next sample. (If you were looking for your 15 minutes of fame, I apologize; I doubt the media will be following us next time)

Hello!
I live in Terrace and signed up for this project when it appeared in the David Suzuki Foundation newsletter. Did I miss the training for the water sampling? I'd be happy to make the trip out to Prince Rupert (weather permitting) if I know the dates for the sampling.
Cheers!

Hi Jamie, The next kit is just on its way to Cheryl. I would suggest that you coordinate with her. Cheers, Jay

Jamie, for various reasons, the December sample isn't going to be a good one for you for come out to Rupert for. The whole holiday season makes things kind of crazy. Why don't you plan to come up in January; I'll let you know when i'm going out.

We will be meeting outside the main office of NWCC Prince Rupert at 4:00pm Friday 9 January 2015 to collect our second sample (our sampling kit got stuck in holiday traffic and did not appear until this week).
Anyone who wishes to join us can meet up.
If you are interested but cannot make it this time, let me know for the next round.

We shall be collecting our seawater sample for Fukushima InFORM Thursday 29 January, meeting at noon on the comfy chairs by NWCC main office if you want to come along. Collecting takes about 20-30 minutes.
Chances are it may be a little damp out, so dress appropriately.
